It all depends on who you ask.  This wonderful breed of horse is many things to many people; they are a sure-footed, soft-gaited trail horse, they're a hard working, smooth riding ranch horse, they're a beautiful show horse for people who love to show, they're a great endurance horse for those of you who love to spend hours in the saddle, and the list goes on.  As you can see, the MFT is used for any discipline.  Surely there is a Missouri Fox Trotter out there that will fit your needs.
